Armor of God Healing Prayer...Ophthalmologists Here's a Good, Solidly Biblical Way to Start Your Day!

Reject the lies of the enemy and replace them with truth.  God's word is Truth!

It is a constant battle in our life that we must conduct. Romans 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good pleasing and perfect will.”

The 2 strategies of the enemy are: Accusation and Deception. Accusation produces guilt, fear, and shame- these are signs of the enemy’s work.

God does not answer the ‘why’ questions, but only the ‘what are you trying to tell me about this?’ The enemy uses deception to confuse the truth and make us question who God is, what His promises are toward us, or who we are in relation to Him.

Healing prayer helps us to replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s word.

1. The Belt of Truth- God is there anywhere in my life that I believe something about you is not true? Is there anything about myself that I believe is not true in relation to you and your love for me? Is there any situation I am in that I don’t believe something that is true? God, please replace these untruths with you and your words of truth. Bind your promises and truth around me and hold me tightly.
4. Breastplate of Righteousness- God is there anywhere in my life that is not right with you? Is there any aspect to my relation to you that is not in right standing? Is there any personal relationship I am in that is not in right standing? Please take these things and replace them with your righteousness. Restore my right standing with you. Help me to be fully surrendered and obedient to you.
7. Feet Shod with the Gospel of Peace- Is there anywhere I am not at peace with you, Lord? Is there any person in my life with whom I am not at peace? In exchange, please shod my feet with your peace. Give me the readiness through your spirit to share the gospel. Keep my ‘Top 5’ at the forefront of my prayers for salvation.
10. Shield of Faith- Is there any place in my life I don’t believe you? Is there any place I have become faithless or unfaithful? Restore to me faith that protects me from the actions of the enemy- an arrow of fear, shame, lust, discontent, jealousy, gossip, pride.
12. Helmet of Salvation- Is there anywhere that I feel unredeemed, unforgiven, unsavable? Is there any part of my life that I think is unable to be covered by your sacrifice? God please restore to me the joy of my salvation. Please cover my mind in the assurance of my salvation. Please help me to resist the enemy’s schemes to attack my sonship.
15. Sword of the Spirit- Is there anywhere that I have laid down your word and not used it or not believed it? Please reveal to me your word so tightly that I cannot drop it. Create in me a thirst for your word, to dwell upon it and to use it in my life daily. Help me to speak your word (life) to others.
