Position Responsibilities

As an optometrist with our practice, you will:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Diagnose and manage common ocular diseases and conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
• Educate patients about their eye health, diagnoses, and treatment options
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other members of the clinical team
• Work closely with technicians and staff to provide an excellent patient experience
• Remain current with advances in optometric care, ocular disease management, and clinical best practices
• Pursue the additional education, training, and licensure required to perform eligible minor procedures and laser treatments in accordance with Vermont’s expanded scope of optometric practice
