A well-connected, well-respected Optometry practice is looking for an Optometrist who wants to provide full scope of care in this beautiful area of Virginia.
We are in a county of 24K people, and we pull patients from outside the county. We are booked out for 2 months!
Highlights
- Expect to see 15-20 patients / day, initially, with a wide range of cases, such as primary care, corrective lenses, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Work 4 days / week and 2 Saturday mornings / month.
- We have an extensive network of specialists to refer cases to.

- Fantastic support staff and technicians with low turnover. Some of the staff have been with the practice for over 25 years!
- Optical shop
- We are on the auxiliary staff of the local hospital -- We are the only eye doctor in the area.
- We use state-of-the-art equipment and currently have SLT and YAG lasers waiting for the State of Virginia to give us final approval to use it.
Compensation / Benefits:
- $150K Base Salary
- Retirement Contribution
- Health Insurance
- License, Malpractice, and DEA paid in full
- CE Stipend: $1,500 annually for Continuing Education
