- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology

Our Department
The incoming ophthalmologist will work at our 570 bed, multi-specialty university health system. We have a Level I Trauma designation. The hospital has been ranked as one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation and one of the top 15 teaching hospitals in the United States by Thomson Reuters. The hospital has 31 accredited residency and fellowship programs that include specialties in emergency medicine, radiology and we offer a well-established and respected ophthalmology residency program. Five of our hospitals made Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals list, indicating they are in the top 5% in the nation for overall clinical excellence.
