A market-leading, non-private equity owned practice in the outer suburbs of Boston with an exceptional reputation for delivering outstanding patient care in a compassionate and professional manner is searching for a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist or Glaucoma or Cornea subspecialist with excellent cataract surgery skills.

This mid-sized multi-specialty practice has an exceptional reputation for delivering outstanding patient care in a compassionate and professional manner.

This 8 doctor team is a trusted community resource for eye care and has excellent provider relationships and a vibrant referral network. 

The incoming Comprehensive ophthalmologist, or Subspecialist will be busy clinically and surgically and will get fantastic MENTORING!

First year: Expect 25-30 patient encounters / day and 12 sugeries / OR session.  
Second year: Expect 35-40 patients / day and 14+ surgeries / OR session.

These numbers are an approximation and will vary according to the incoming doctors’ skills, ability, and work-pace. The practice is stable and growing and they have seen increasing patient demand in each of the last 3 years. Most surgeries are performed at a conveniently located, physician owned, AAAHC-certified ophthalmology only surgery center.

The incoming doctor can expect a generous compensation and benefits package along with the potential for partnership after 2 years of employment. Partnership shares in the practice includes an optical shop, and eventually an opportunity for real estate and ASC shares too.
