SOUTH CAROLINA - PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGIST Needed for Growing Group in Popular City!

This opportunity is fellowship trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist. The incoming doctor will work with an innovative, mid-sized group practice in South Carolina.

The incoming doctor will join a group of 4 ophthalmologists and 2 optometrist who seek to honor Christ in word and deed. Those principles permeate their lives and the professional values of their group practice. Several members of the practice participate in local and international eye care missions.

The practice has two locations and a surgery center. The main office is located in a serene, wooded park setting anchored by a large local healthcare system. A tranquil corridor of mature Pine trees and Magnolias welcome you as you drive through the park. The office is 12,000 s.f., is nearly new and features modern, artfully designed architecture. It has been thoughtfully designed to aid in the patient experience and physician workflow. Equipment and instrumentation is up to date and technology is utilized optimally.

The incoming Pediatric Ophthalmologist will enjoy being part of a dynamic, growing organization. It is desirable that the Peds doctor do ROP, Strabismus, and Peds Cataracts. However, finding the right long-term match is the most important thing for this group of doctors so there is room for flexibility in the exact skillset of the incoming doctor. This opening includes partnership potential for the right long-term fit.

The area is a large, growing metropolitan city with a vibrant economy and many big brand multinational corporations. The region’s population has grown 30% over the last decade and is reflective of the variety of economic opportunities and the beautiful southern location. This region receives more investment per capita than any other area in the U.S. There are a wealth of things to see and do in this city; a multitude of parks and green spaces, the Blue Ridge Mountains, a thriving arts scene, charming shops and cafes, sports teams, large lakes and more. Charleston, SC is a nice half-day trip away and Atlanta is even closer!
